Fracture escape wheel
A fractured escape wheel tooth about 5mm long
Soldered repair
A sliver of brass has been soldered to the tooth and filed to shape.
Worn pivot
A badly worn pivot about 4mm long that is in danger of breaking.
New pivot inserted
The arbor (shaft) has been drilled and a new pivot has been inserted, before turning to size and burnishing.
Rusted dial
A rusted, flaking, painted dial.
Restored dial
The same dial after restoration by Cosigns.
Poorly soldered repair
A poorly soldered repair on a lifting piece.
New armed soldered in place
A new arm soldered in place and filed to shape.
